Water filter for the shower

I went to Lowes and got a water filter for the shower and handheld shower.

Old handheld shower with a water filter broke down suddenly.

For the healthy skin! It was pretty easy to set up.

I found a similar water filter at amazon.com

The world of Law of Attraction

Lots of things happened lately and I needed some spiritual help so I was binge watching inspirational Youtube video a lot.

I love spiritual stuff like Reiki, Theta Healing, I've heard of Basher but haven't look into what it is until recently.

Thanks to Youtube, I've learned a lot about Basher and I also discovered "Abraham Hicks", She's famous for "Law of Attraction" Is she the first one say that? I think that's Napoleon Hill, his theory doesn't involve aliens though.

Yes, both Basher and Abram Hicks channeling with the universe power, or vortex.

They both say "What you think will really happen, either good way or bad way." and that's the common fact for all the spiritual world.

So I'm trying to attract something good. I'm imagining I'm a rich person and have a wonderful partner,  have good kids, happy life, great house in a good neighborhood, great income without sacrifice my family life.

The theory says you need to feel happy and you act like you already have everything you want. You might think you have what you want so you are happy, it's opposite, you feel happy therefore you are having what you want.

In this corner of the world (Japanese Anime Movie)

In this corner of the world is a Japanese animation movie. This animation illustrates how ordinary Japanese citizens survive in world war II era.

Suzu is a girl who likes to draw.  She grew up in a loving family and she got married to a guy she didn't know to a city of Kure, a city a few hours away by a train from her hometown Hiroshima.

The city of Kure had a war plant making warships, so this city was a target of American attacks. It gets pretty sad because food got scarce, had so many nights attacked, pretty sad, traumatic thing happened.. Please just watch in a theatre near you or in Netflix!!

Growing up in Japan, my generation got an education of "War makes people miserable" mindset. When I was the first grade, we read how elephants in a zoo had to starve to death because zookeepers couldn't give an injection to them to euthanasia because their skin is too thick. The elephants did tricks trying to get some snacks as a reward. Zookeepers were also so sad, they loved the elephants but they don't want the elephant to go free if the bomb hit the zoo.

I was surprised to see the people in the U.S. don't seem to have the same value, "War is a bad thing" when Iraq war and Afgan war happened, they seem to have more like "Yeah, do the war!" mindset.

Why? Americans got wealthy by the war, especially after the World War II.  This business model didn't always work after Vietnam, but it's still powerful.

It's really important to know war make people sad and suffering.

Helping my son's English homework : Walk Two Moons

My 6th-grade son doesn't do his homework on time.

He had a homework that he needs to read a book and fill in each character's background,  thoughts, deeds,  blah blah blah.

My son did read the whole book but he had a hard time describing how to write each question.  I don't want to read the whole book so I googled "Walk Two Moons" "Review" "Main character's mom" "whoever's characteristics" and bingo! I found most of the stuff and let him write down. I know my son needs really help with writing skills but that's another story. Anyway, after reading some reviews, I got a picture of the story. A mom of the main character left her family because of her sufferings and her daughter started searching for her mother, accepting bitter facts, and the girl's self-finding story.

The main character's dad seems like a nice person, and honestly, I know it's the fiction but I was like, "Leaving a whole family having such a nice daughter and husband? Wake up this self-pitying woman. " and my son said this, "You know, the dad had an affair with her mom's best friend." That made me changed my reaction.  Poor mother, after having a miscarriage and betrayed by her husband and he acts like the nicest person in the world towards his daughter? I know how you feel!

I didn't read the whole book so I might be wrong for all this but,

I am having a difficult time right now, my husband left, and had a girlfriend immediately, so I'm going thru a divorce, financial uneasiness, blah blah, but I wouldn't leave my kids and my life.

I know sometimes everybody goes through a tough time but if you don't keep your chin up, you just slid down to the darkness and you can't get out. You might need some help and cheer from your friend and family,  but only yourself can let you stand up and live up your life and get through the situation and that's what I'm trying to say to my self, kids are with daddy tonight, and I'm looking forward tomorrow to see them.

Red Underwear for Good Health!

I heard the red underwear is good for your health and luck, especially in the year of the monkey, which was in 2016. I bought several of them and they are worn out so I went to Macy's and got more of those today.

Why is it good? That's because of the color red invigorates you in the first and second chakra, or the body part called "Tanden" (about an inch under your navel button) can feel the power of red too.  It's told that the red makes your blood flow better, and keep your body warm.

This year isn't the year of the monkey,  and it's a good luck to change to the new underwear on the new year day but I couldn't do that (because I forgot.)

I also read that it's good to have new underwear when you feel you have bad luck lately. That's more my motive to get new underwear today. I hope it's gonna work for me!

Around Forty, looks like Twenties.

Around Forty, in short, Ara Four means a person is 36 to 44.

“OMG I’ll be around forty next year!”
Women under 35 is very tough position, either you’re married or not married.

“Obasan” means middle aged women in Japanese. Also pronounce the same as aunt. Most women can’t accept the fact you will be called this way.

20 years ago, above 30 is considered Obasan. Now though, because of so many both famous and unknown ordinary women keep themselves look young changes images of over thirty still young and beautiful.

You can look pretty good in thirties no problem but how about in 40’s? Around 40 is the challenging time for women.

Especially in Japan, age matters. Women around thirty is getting nervous about whether if she will get married by early thirty or at least build a certain relationship to be married and have family together, well, sounds like kind of similar everywhere though.

Because of long recession, its harder for young people to have good paying job in Japan. again, sounds like world’s problem in the U.S or Europe. People get paid so little to even barely make a living for himself, so hard to have traditional housewife and one kid or two kids.

Not only women facing tough time, Mens too.

Around the world, for the people around 40, life is tough, that’s how I feel. You imagined your future bright when you were young. Living in a dream big house, jobs are great, have a wonderful spouse and kids, maybe a dog or two.

I see some people especially men facing the “mid life crisis”
Look at your reality, the rent and house is too expensive, you got paid so little to even get by, you fight your spouse bi weekly over money. Your kids isn’t so bright just like you were.. It shouldn’t be this way. I could be better. I deserve better job or women (with bigger boobs / implant one is better).

I know at least two people who is facing marriage crisis for this reason.

You are not young forever, and people Around 40’s are facing parent’s end of the life. You need to be responsible and think about your own retirement.

That’s around 40, its the wake up time for the brighter life Around 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90. or even 100.

My gut is boiling with anger.

Harawata ga niekurikaeru. means My gut is boiling.

This is  a Japanese expression.

Harawata is intestine. There are so many expression to connect intestine and emotion. I read some articles about intestine health and mental health is closely connected.

My son's scooter (not a razor, pro scooter, its expensive) was stolen by the same elementary school boy. My son and his friend were inside a seven eleven and they noticed my son's scooter was taken by a boy and his older brother. They rushed outside and chased them but they lost them after the first left at the end of the block. My son cried so much and came home. I went with them to search for the boy and tried to find where they were, but no luck.

We came back home and called police. They'll look into the camera.

I hope my son's scooter is coming back soon.
